Charlie Countryman heads for a Festival in 2013

Lensed in Romania where "Cold Mountain" shot nearly a decade ago, the film is now reportedly eyeing a festival premiere early next year, with producers Ron Yerxa and Albert Berger telling ThompsonOnHollywood that Sundance and Berlin are being targeted. The film tells the story of a man who gets mixed up with a young woman (Evan Rachel Wood) and vows to free her from the clutches of a violent crime boss (Mads Mikkelsen) who has a hold on her. Aubrey Plaza, 'Harry Potter' star Rupert Grint and Til Schweiger ("Inglourious Basterds") are all co-starring in the film as well.

News Update!

- The Toronto International Film Festival announced its 2012 film line-up and Liz Garbus’s anticipated doc on Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe will be featured among the world premieres. Evan took part to this project and maybe we can hope in a red carpet appearance in late September.
- Last weekend Evan was in NYC and took part to a few performances of Sleep No More in the role of a nurse, below a picture she posted on twitter.
- Evan will perform tonight with AtU co-star Martin Luther Mccoy at the Hotel Cafè in LA! Hopefully tomorrow we'll have a new singing Evan video.
- Apparently Evan entered the studio to give voice to a Robot Chicken character.
- In other news Evan left the flaming red hair look she still had since the filming of Charlie Countryman and returned to her dark reddish self....I like it much better :)
